Prefabricated Substation (European Style Box)
The YB2-12 series intelligent integrated substation, commonly known as the Prefabricated Substation (European Style Box), is a factory-prefabricated, compact indoor/outdoor power distribution equipment that integrates high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution devices according to a specific wiring scheme. It organically combines high-voltage power receiving, transformer, and low-voltage power distribution functions, all housed in a moisture-proof, rust-proof, dust-proof, rodent-proof, fire-proof, theft-proof, padded, fully enclosed, and movable steel or non-metallic enclosure. It operates in a fully enclosed electromechanical system and is widely used in urban power grid upgrades, residential communities, high-rise buildings, industrial and mining enterprises, hotels, shopping malls, airports, railways, oil fields, docks, highways, and temporary power supply facilities, both indoors and outdoors.
Usage Conditions
Altitude ≤ 1000m; Ambient temperature: Upper limit +40°C, lower limit -25°C; Relative humidity: Daily average not greater than 95%, monthly average not greater than 90%; Installation location: Location free from fire, explosion hazards, conductive dust, corrosive chemical gases, and severe vibration; If the above normal usage conditions cannot meet the requirements, the user shall consult with the manufacturer.
Features
The basic structure of the prefabricated outdoor substation is available in “目” and “品” shapes. The frame is welded from high-quality channel steel and angle steel, providing high mechanical strength. The enclosure is made of aluminum alloy profiles, offering good corrosion resistance. Its aesthetically pleasing appearance, achieved through painting, blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. A carefully designed bottom lifting device greatly facilitates installation, transportation, and relocation. The substation contains independent high-voltage, transformer, and low-voltage compartments. Lighting in each compartment automatically turns on when the doors are opened. The high-voltage compartment is equipped with high-voltage ring network switchgear. Pneumatic or vacuum load switches can be selected according to user needs, and it features “five-proof” functions. When using current-limiting high-voltage fuses, the load switch automatically trips when a fuse in one phase blows, preventing faults caused by single-phase operation. The transformer room employs natural ventilation and an automatically controlled forced-air cooling system. It features an exhaust system that automatically adjusts to temperature changes, effectively controlling and reducing the internal temperature to meet operational requirements. Anti-condensation devices can be added upon request. Access to the transformer room is conveniently via a track from both sides of the main entrance. The enclosure material prevents rainwater and dirt from entering, ensuring long-term outdoor use. It guarantees corrosion resistance, waterproofing, dustproofing, long service life, simple maintenance, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The transformer can be either dry-type or oil-immersed. The low-voltage compartment provides the overall functionality of a complete low-voltage switchgear system, allowing users to select and combine options as needed. Enclosure materials include composite panels, stainless steel composite panels, aluminized zinc plates, stainless steel plates, and metal embossed panels. Structural features: The high-voltage structure is rationally compact and can utilize HXGN17 or XGN15 ring main units, all with five-proof interlocking functions. The transformer’s natural ventilation and automatic cooling systems are suitable for both dry-type and oil-immersed transformers. Low-voltage room: Various power distribution schemes can be adopted according to user requirements, with functions such as power distribution, lighting distribution, automatic reactive power compensation, and electricity metering, and equipped with an automatic lighting system.
